I offer individual therapy and relationship counseling via telehealth to people in Providence and throughout Rhode Island. In-person sessions are also available at my East Greenwich office, a short drive from Providence.

WHO I WORK WITH

People navigating real complexity in their lives

Many people in Providence who reach out are not in crisis. They are managing something more persistent: anxiety that shows up in their relationships or at work, a sense that something important has shifted and they are not sure what to do with it, or patterns in how they connect with others that they have noticed but cannot change on their own.

It might look like:

  • Overthinking interactions and second-guessing yourself well after they are over

  • Difficulty trusting others or feeling settled in close relationships

  • A career shift, move, or relationship change that has left you uncertain about what you want

  • Questions about identity, sexuality, or how you want to live that feel hard to sit with alone

For people navigating career shifts, identity transitions, major life changes, or the process of becoming someone different than they were before.

IN PERSON & TELEHEALTH

Sessions available from Providence

I offer telehealth sessions throughout Rhode Island, you join from wherever you are in Providence. In-person sessions are available at my East Greenwich office, approximately 25 minutes south on Route 4, for those who prefer to meet in person.

All services are private pay. A free 15-minute consultation is available before we schedule anything.

Individual therapy is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield/Anthem and United Healthcare/Optum. A superbill can be provided for those with out-of-network benefits.

WHAT WORKING WITH ME LOOKS LIKE

My approach follows a two-phase process

Understanding has to come before change. Skipping to change without it tends not to hold.

Understanding first

We look carefully at where a pattern comes from, including experiences that may go back further than the current situation. For people navigating identity shifts or relationship questions, this phase often brings clarity that was hard to reach alone.

Then change

Once the pattern is clearer, we build small realistic steps while developing the ability to manage what comes up when you start doing things differently. Telehealth sessions follow the same structure and pace as in-person work.

Purposeful sessions

I ask thoughtful questions, offer practical tools, and challenge you when the work calls for it. Most people leave with either a new way of understanding something or a concrete next step. Sometimes even a little humor finds its way in.

A manageable pace

Change in identity, relationships, and how you relate to others rarely happens quickly. The goal is not to resolve everything at once. It is to build enough clarity that the patterns start to feel less fixed and more workable.
