Transform Patterns in East Greenwich, Rhode Island
You understand what is happening. You are ready to actually change it.
I offer individual therapy and relationship counseling in person in East Greenwich and via telehealth throughout Rhode Island. My work focuses on understanding the patterns that keep recurring, then helping you respond to them differently.
WHO I WORK WITH
You already understand a lot about yourself. Something still feels stuck.
They are people who have spent time understanding themselves, reading about anxiety, reflecting on their patterns, noticing what keeps repeating in their relationships or daily life. The part they are stuck on is not insight. It is change.
It might look like:
Replaying conversations or decisions long after they are over
Conflict with a partner that returns to the same themes no matter how many times you talk
Feeling like you are managing daily life but never fully settled
Knowing what you want to do differently and still not being able to do it
This is often where therapy becomes most useful. Not simply understanding the pattern but learning how to interrupt it and respond differently.
IN PERSON & TELEHEALTH
Sessions available across Rhode Island
My East Greenwich office at 2843 S County Trl Suite 124 is accessible from Warwick, Providence, Wakefield, Barrington, Bristol, and surrounding communities. I also offer telehealth sessions throughout Rhode Island for those who prefer to meet remotely.
Individual therapy is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield/Anthem and United Healthcare/Optum. A superbill can be provided for those with out-of-network benefits.
WHAT WORKING WITH ME LOOKS LIKE
My approach follows a two-phase process
Understanding first
We slow down and look at where a pattern comes from, what experiences, beliefs, or reactions keep it in place, and why it shows up when it does. This builds insight that feels useable, not just intellectual.
Then change
Once the pattern is clearer, we build small realistic steps forward while developing the ability to manage the emotions that surface when you start doing something differently.
Purposeful sessions
Most people leave each session with either a new way of understanding something or a concrete next step. I ask thoughtful questions, offer practical tools, and challenge you when the work calls for it.
A manageable pace
Change does not happen all at once. The goal is not to fix everything quickly. It is to build enough traction that each week feels a little clearer than the last. Sometimes that process even includes a little humor.
AREAS I SPECIALIZE IN
What people most often bring to therapy with me
-
Reducing anxiety and overthinking
For people who understand their anxiety well and want to change how it operates, not just manage the symptoms in the moment.
-
Improving relationship patterns and resolving conflict
For individuals and couples who can see the cycle they are in and want to understand what keeps it going before it becomes harder to repair.
-
Strengthening intimacy and connection
For individuals and couples navigating emotional distance, difficulty letting someone in, and the kind of closeness that feels just out of reach.
-
Managing change and setting boundaries
For people navigating life transitions, identity shifts, and the work of becoming someone different than they were before.
