Relationship Counseling in Connecticut via telehealth

The patterns are clear. Something about them still will not shift.

I offer individual therapy and relationship counseling to Connecticut residents via secure telehealth. My work focuses on understanding what keeps recurring patterns in place and building practical ways to respond differently.

WHO I WORK WITH

You have probably thought about this for a while

Many people in Connecticut who reach out have already done some work. They have been in therapy before, done the reading, and developed real insight into how they operate. What they are looking for now is not more understanding. It is actual movement.

It might look like:

  • Understanding your anxiety intellectually but still not being able to stop it in the moment

  • A relationship conflict that returns to the same argument despite good intentions on both sides

  • A major change that has left you uncertain about who you are or what you want next

  • Patterns you can recognize clearly in yourself but cannot seem to interrupt before they play out

This work focuses on moving beyond insight alone. Understanding is the starting point, not the destination.

TELEHEALTH THROUGHOUT CONNECTICUT

Sessions from wherever you are

All Connecticut sessions are conducted via secure telehealth. Sessions are available across the state including Hartford, Glastonbury, and surrounding communities. You join from home, your office, or anywhere private.

I am licensed in Connecticut (LCSW) and Rhode Island (LICSW). A free 15-minute consultation is available before we schedule anything.

Individual therapy is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare for Connecticut residents. A superbill can be provided for those with out-of-network benefits.

WHAT WORKING WITH ME LOOKS LIKE

My approach follows a two-phase process

Most people who reach out already have significant insight. The first phase builds on that. The second phase focuses on building meaningful change.

Understanding first

We slow down and look at what keeps the pattern in place, especially in moments where insight alone has not led to change. This is often where the work starts to feel different from simply understanding the problem.

Then change

Once that understanding is clearer, we build specific realistic steps while developing the ability to manage what surfaces when doing things differently. All Connecticut sessions are via telehealth.

Purposeful sessions

Sessions are structured to feel purposeful. Most people leave with either a new insight or a concrete next step. I ask thoughtful questions, offer practical tools, and challenge you when the work calls for it.

A manageable pace

People who have already done work on themselves sometimes expect faster progress. Change still takes time. The difference is that this work tends to go deeper than what insight alone could reach, and the changes tend to hold.

CT LICENSURE

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Connecticut

Research consistently shows that telehealth therapy produces outcomes comparable to in-person therapy for anxiety, relationship concerns, and the kinds of issues most people bring to therapy. My Connecticut patients find that meeting from home actually makes it easier to be consistent and open, particularly over time. The structure, pacing, and depth of the work are the same.
